Our Mission
The mission of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges is to promote the interests of United States Bankruptcy Judges generally; to utilize our expertise on issues of bankruptcy law and procedure to improve the administration of the bankruptcy system; to foster scholarship, collegiality and diversity among members of the bankruptcy bench and bar; and to provide opportunities for education and networking for bankruptcy judges and the bankruptcy community at large. ABLJ
The American Bankruptcy Law Journal is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes learned articles focusing on bankruptcy law and related subjects. It promotes the exchange of ideas about and deeper understanding of bankruptcy issues, particularly among its core audience that includes judges, bankruptcy professionals, academics, legislators and other policymakers.

Membership
Membership in the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges is restricted to actively serving United States Bankruptcy Judges (including recall judges), retired U.S. Bankruptcy Judges, former U.S. Bankruptcy Judges not eligible for retirement, and qualifying international judges.
