Description:
A panel of leading bankruptcy judges, practitioners and scholars will engage a lively discussion of “hot topics” in bankruptcy, including questions arising in corporate restructuring and and consumer bankruptcy cases.
Bios:

Jane Kim is the managing partner of Keller Benvenutti Kim, a San Francisco-based corporate bankruptcy and restructuring boutique law firm, where she represents debtors in possession, distressed companies, and other parties, in both in-court and out-of-court situations.

Melissa Jacoby is the author of Unjust Debts, a longtime faculty member at UNC-Chapel Hill, and a Faculty Fellow at UNC’s Center for Banking and Finance.

Tara Twomey is the former Director of the United States Trustee Program. Previously, Ms. Twomey served as Counsel to the National Consumer Law Center and the Executive Director for the National Consumer Bankruptcy Rights Center. She is a conferee of the National Bankruptcy Conference and a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. She currently serves on the Board of Editors and is a contributing author for Collier on Bankruptcy.
