Hon. Luis E. Rivera, II was sworn in October 2, 2025 as the newest bankruptcy judge for the Middle District of Florida. Judge Rivera’s duty
station is in Tampa. He will also preside in the Court’s Fort Myers Division.
Judge Rivera received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University in New Orleans (magna cum laude) and his law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
