Healthcare Bankruptcies: Complex Diagnosis, Difficult to Treat

The panel will discuss the role of regulators in various aspects of healthcare bankruptcies, including sales, reorganization and liquidation; issues concerning real property leases, including sale-leaseback structures; difficulties of valuing healthcare companies in the context of sales and reorganization; and issues arising in Chapter 7 cases of health care businesses.
