Hon. Mary Elisabeth (“Mary Beth”) Naumann
Hon. Mary Beth Naumann was appointed as a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of Kentucky on November 5, 2025.
The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals selected Mary Beth to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of United States Bankruptcy Judge Alan Stout, and she was sworn in on November 5, 2025.
Mary Beth practiced law at Jackson Kelly for 25 years, starting in 2000, where she was a Member in the Jackson Kelly’s Lexington, KY office, focusing on bankruptcy, commercial restructuring, commercial litigation, energy transactions, and equine law.
